Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, marks the end of slavery in the United States. On June 19, 1865, the news of freedom finally reached enslaved people in Texas, over two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.
Today, we honor this pivotal moment in history and celebrate the resilience, culture, and achievements of the African American community. At Wilner & O’Reilly, we stand for justice and equality, and we are committed to continuing the fight for true freedom for all.
Join us in celebrating Juneteenth and reflecting on the progress made and the work still ahead. ✨
