Del City Man Wanted In Deadly Hit-And-Run, Turns Himself In

A Del City man wanted in connection with the death of a pregnant woman has surrendered to police.
Rico Robinson, 22, walked into the police station Saturday. He was wanted for a hit and run late last month that left Shartell Brown and her unborn child dead.
Robinson's attorney says he made the decision to surrender after talking with his pastor.
“Based on everything he shared with me verifying that he did in fact have an active warrant, felt the best thing and the most appropriate thing to do under these circumstance was to surrender,” said Attorney Tony Coleman.

So grateful for this gentleman! My husband and I have been trying unsuccessfully on our own to handle justice, thinking it would prevail. Well, not always and sometimes never. My son sat in jail for 7 months awaiting his day in court and every date was pushed 1-3 months out each time, never allowing him the chance to even get in front of a judge.

His PD never returned calls and we were at a loss as to what to do. We hired Mr. Coleman on Friday for a court appearance this morning and the case is now closed.

Tony stepped in and within 3 days handled it! He also offered additional resources since we are all from out of town.

This may sound like a commercial but it's all truth.
