Senator Stanislawski presents executive nominee Thomas K. Palmer to the State Fire Marshal Commission to serve a 5 year term.
Senator Leewright & Senator Pemberton join us at the Capitol while the others join online. The Senate Business, Commerce & Tourism meeting begins at 9:30 a.m.
Gov Stitt just announced Phase I of reopening nonessential businesses. On Friday, personal care businesses (hair, nails, grooming) may reopen with social distancing, with certain procedures to be adhered to; May 1st, restaurants, gyms, churches, may resume, with strict protocols. Phase II, two-weeks later if data continues to trend downward. OKC and Tulsa Mayors say, "not so fast". They will delay until at least April 30th. See full report on the LegisOK website.
