It seems I am talking to consumers weekly whose mortgage servicer or debt collector is not doing what they are supposed to be doing. In some of these cases, the servicer or debt collector is breaking the law. We fight them in the court of law, but there is another avenue that gets ignored. The Oklahoma Attorney General has set up a complaint process. Unless consumers actually complain to the attorney general, he has no way of knowing what bad acts are occurring.
