You hop in an Uber after a night out or grab a Lyft to catch a flight. It’s something most of us don’t think twice about.
But if that ride ends in a crash… things can get complicated fast.
🚗 Rideshare accidents aren’t like normal car accidents:
• There can be multiple insurance policies involved
• Drivers aren’t technically employees
• More than one party could be responsible
• And insurance companies don’t make it easy
In some places (like North Dakota, for example), even something as simple as whether the driver had the app on can change who’s responsible for your injuries.
💡 Bottom line:
If you’re hurt in a rideshare accident, figuring out who pays and how much isn’t always clear.
Injuries can be anything from whiplash to more serious head or back injuries, and the costs can add up quickly.
👉 Knowing your rights can make a big difference in how your case plays out.
If you or someone you know has been in an Uber or Lyft accident, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
