Please join us in congratulating Chief Craig Branch on his recent appointment by Gov. Terry McAuliffe to the Virginia Criminal Justice Services Board. We are honored to have Chief Branch and the men and women of the Germanna Community College Police Department as members of Piedmont Regional Crime Prevention Association, committed to supporting crime prevention efforts throughout the Commonwealth.

Congratulations to Germanna Chief of Police Craig Branch for being named by Gov. Terry McAuliffe to the state Criminal Justice Services Board Friday.
It's not the first such state appointment for Chief Branch.
In 2014, former Gov. Bob McDonnell appointed him to the Advisory Committee on Juvenile Justice.
The Chesterfield County resident is a past president of the Virginia Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators.
He has overseen Germanna’s transition from a security department to a campus police operation.
Chief Branch has been active in state efforts to stem the opioid crisis and prevent campus sexual assaults.
