Hey folks, working on learning all I can on QBO Accountant version. Bookkeeping for businesses is my focus here that want to spend more time on their business, yet still get the financial results of their efforts without the stress of managing the books as well.

I also am adding another piece for individuals struggling to make ends meet in which I am "The Wise Budgeter" (see link here to my FB Page) https://www.facebook.com/wisebudgeting/ and planning on holding a five day workshop online to help those struggling get started in restructuring their finances. I struggled with debt for over 25-30 yrs and I know how debilitating and stressful it was; I want to help others overcome this in their lives. More details to come.

The IRS Mileage Reimbursement Rate

If you are in business or work for someone or do bookkeeping, it is important you know what the IRS sets each year as the standard mileage rate by which you can get reimbursed for use of your vehicle for business purposes.

For 2023, this rate was set at 65.5 cents per mile driven for business purposes, up from previous years, as the result of changes in operating costs.

The IRS also provides Optional Standard Mileage Rates to calculate deductible costs associated with vehicle use for business, medical, or moving purposes.
