If you’re buying a home this year, CIRCLE THESE DATES ON YOUR CALENDAR:
These are the official dates when the FOMC will be meeting to discuss lowering interest rates. The market is predicting as many as 6 rate cuts this year, although the FOMC has been more moderate in their forecasts. Overall, most economists do expect interest rates to come down this year. Of course, this affects mortgage rates! It’s very possible folks could be getting mortgage rates in the low 5’s by the end of the year.
Rates have already started to come down in the past 90 days, and we have even gotten some high 5s.
The 2024 market is going to be HOT, and I can't wait to help so many families this year!
