This September marks six years since Here to Honor’s founding!

What started out as a response to funeral planning needs, amplified by the COVID pandemic, has evolved over the last few years to become a community-centered death education hub. Through workshops, social events, and an annual summit, Here to Honor cultivates community around end-of-life learning that addresses practical, relational, and spiritual needs.

To mark the occasion of our sixth “birthday,” we're asking for feedback from everyone involved along the way. We'd love to hear what resonates with you and where there's room to grow.

Answering this brief survey will help us to plan relevant programming. Each respondent has the option to provide contact information for a chance to win one of two $25 gift cards from Bookshop.org. We will draw one name at random from our pool of respondents on August 5 and again on September 5.

Unless circumstances are pressing, most of us likely avoid thinking and talking about mortality and related topics and issues altogether.

“I’m young,” we think.
“I’m healthy,” we say.
“This end-of-life planning stuff can wait.”

But mortality is a reality, and when death inevitably happens, trying to make decisions, locate legal paperwork, and initiate tough conversations in crisis mode can be overwhelming and exhausting. Taking steps to prepare well for the end of life—and well before the end—can help alleviate unnecessary stress for everyone involved and provide more bandwidth to manage other responsibilities and needs...
