Today, the URJ is sharing the full report from the law firm Debevoise & Plimpton’s independent investigation into sexual harassment, abuse, and misconduct. We profoundly apologize for the enduring pain caused to the individual survivors and victims and to those around them. To fulfill our shared Jewish tradition of t’shuvah (repentance), we seek to earn your forgiveness and will do everything in our power to right the wrongs of the past. In recent years, we have strengthened our procedures and training protocols to help us ensure a safe and healthy environment. However, we know that we can and must do better. We are committed to reviewing and implementing the recommendations in the report as thoroughly and swiftly as possible.
