Here's exactly what I do when I audit a business spending $5K+ a month on ads.

First, I ignore your ad account completely. That's the last place I look.

I start where the money actually leaks:

→ How fast does a lead get contacted? Not your policy. Your actual average.
→ How many times do you follow up before you quit? Most stop at 2. The money is at 5 to 12.
→ What happens to a "not now"? For most companies: nothing. Forever.
→ Can you name the channel that produced your last 10 customers?

Then I put a number on it.

Not "there's room to improve." A number. This is what the leak is costing you every month.

Most owners have never seen that number. It's usually bigger than their entire ad budget.

Then — and only then — do we look at the ads.
