How do you achieve perfect lighting and color while keeping a photograph a photograph?
The point of photography has always been to show something as it IS, and not as it isn't. The subtleties and aspects of lenses, film stocks (when we were using those), etc. are going to show through too...
It seems, in the digital age, less and less can be trusted as being real.
