We are thrilled about the success of the ALS Golf Tournament. We raised $9,200 this year, and with an earlier fundraiser, we were able to write a total check for $14,000 for ALS Respite Care for Southernmost Illinois.

The Regional Staff has informed us that more people are being diagnosed with ALS in this area. With better screening, doctors can identify this terrible disease sooner.

People with ALS in Southernmost Illinois have expressed their immense gratitude for the support they've received. Our incredible neighbors, friends, and local businesses have made this fundraiser possible through their generous donations. This Respite Care will provide top-notch caregiving services in the area.

Without local friends, this could never happen. There are too many people to write their names, as I will miss some people. They know the people who worked, with love. ALS will be sending a thank-you to the helpers. The National office will be sending their national thank-you notes.

I always think this will be my last tournament. It is too tough, too hard to mess with. Then you realize what hard is, the people who live with misery with ALS." The impact on those living with ALS serves are a powerful motivation to continue with this Golf Tournament. So, with this thought, then we decide to do it again, and again and every August, we will do this again…..August 6, 2025
