Michael Nunnelley, Attorney at Law

He still resides in the River Region with his wife and three children and his family is active in his home church of First Baptist Church – Prattville. Nunnelley is the son of a real estate agent who grew up helping his father repair sinks and roofs and learned to take pride in doing what it took to make sure the details were right. That mindset has stayed with him throughout his life. Nunnelley s

tudied economics at Florida State University and worked as a waiter through college to help support himself. He attended Harvard Law School where he was Executive Editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy. He then served as a federal law clerk for the Honorable Jerry Edwin Smith on the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals before joining Baker Botts, L.L.P. in Houston, Texas, where he worked on complex litigation along with oil and gas law. A call home led him back to Alabama for a fifteen-year career at the Alabama Attorney General’s Office as a trial and appellate prosecutor. He decided recently to go into private practice to make more of an impact and pursue professional goals of his own. At Argo | Hughes, Mr. Nunnelley continues to practice trial and appellate litigation as needed for his clients. He also brings his vast experience and expertise to Real Estate, Business Planning, Corporate Guidance, and other transactional matters.
