In the last thirty years, criminal law and immigration law have become so deeply intertwined that for migrants the distinction is frequently irrelevant. Immigration law often turns on the outcome of criminal proceedings, which are routinely affected by immigration status, and policing habits long associated with these areas of law have crossed the doctrinal divide. This is crimmigration law. Join author César Cuauhtémoc García Hernández as he presents Crimmigration Law, the first book to map the doctrinal landscape of this emerging body of law that is rapidly evolving in U.S. courtrooms and legislature
