POLICE EXPLORERS PROGRAM CADETS -

I am currently investigating claims of abuse on behalf of victims against their advisors while participating in municipal police departments' police explorers programs.

Local police departments run these programs as a way to introduce young women and men to police work. However, having previously been run by the Boys Scouts of America, the programs are rife with a history of abuse.

I could not be more proud to know this courageous young woman, let alone represent her. It is a horrifying story, made more so by the fact that there were hundreds of opportunities for someone to step up and stop her abuse. Those with a legal duty failed completely, and those with a moral obligation did nothing.

I very much look forward to pursuing the State of Connecticut for its agencies' many failures and questioning under oath every single person who could have stopped her abuse.

A Bristol foster parent was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a girl in his care for almost a decade despite DCF calls.
