You never think it’s you.

Colon cancer wasn’t on my radar.
Until it was.

This is the story of what happened, what I almost ignored, and why listening to your body matters more than you think.

Thank you and for telling this story and helping bring awareness. If this pushes even one person to get screened, it’s worth it.

And a special thank you to my boxing coach and for being part of my journey back to strength. 💢🥊.

I built my business through social media, blogging, and digital connections, not traditional marketing. But something interesting has happened along the way. While teaching a class recently, I realized that many younger agents have never actually mailed a letter. It’s simply generational.

Sometimes we need to grab onto a few traditional methods that make us stand out. A handwritten note does exactly that. In a mailbox full of bills and generic marketing, a personal message feels intentional, human, and memorable. It’s the kind of thing people pause to read instead of tossing in the recycle bin.

In this video, I emphasize how handwritten notes can add impact to your marketing and even cover the basics of addressing an envelope and placing a stamp.

I did miss the part about actually taking the letter to the post office. So if I skipped something that doesn’t make sense, or if you want ideas on how to make this work for your business, send me a DM. Happy to share. ✉️✍️ (b-roll made with AI)

Another REBarCamp in the books and still one of my favorite events.

This one was a true collaboration between the YPN boards from and 🌟 Always good to see people actually joining forces instead of just talking about it.

A room full of hungry agents, great conversations, and sponsors that made it happen.

Thank you for providing the perfect space.

Just finished spokesperson training with Florida Realtors as part of my role as District Vice President for District 4, representing Miami and the Florida Keys.

This was my second time taking the course and I had just as much fun as the first. There’s something powerful about practicing tough questions and learning how to handle difficult situations with clarity and confidence.

Grateful to for the opportunity to keep growing in this role. Great colleagues, fantastic instructors, and an A+ experience all around.

You know that crown. Even if you don’t know the building’s name.

Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in 1983, one of the most influential architecture firms of the 20th century, known for its civic and institutional work.

This building remains one of the most recognizable silhouettes in Downtown Miami and a defining feature of the city’s skyline

If you have walked past this at Bayside Marketplace, here’s the story.

This is Miami’s tribute to the Space Shuttle Challenger. The memorial honors the seven astronauts who lost their lives in 1986 and marks a moment that left a permanent imprint on the country.

Designed by Japanese artist, Isamu Noguchi.

In a city that moves fast and builds even faster, this piece is quiet and intentional. A reminder that exploration, risk, and progress are part of who we are.

Next time you are at Bayside, look up.

The Pink House · Miami Shores

Late 1970s, Arquitectonica founders Bernardo Fort-Brescia and Laurinda Spear built it for themselves. When architects build for themselves, you pay attention.

The project is a study in interlocking planes. A controlled composition of solid and void. The street facade intentionally scaled to the suburban context, while the bay elevation opens up and expands.

PINK: Five shades that caused enough neighbor drama to get the zoning board involved. They approved it, but only after requiring a grove of trees to soften the street view. Miami Shores said, “fine, but add landscaping.” The landscape became part of the sequence.
(Although I’m still not a fan of the Black Olives.)

The circle carved into the front pool reads as a geometric counterpoint to the rectilinear composition. Nautical or not. Art Deco or not. It’s iconic. And very Miami.

Tropical modern before the term was fashionable. Still sharp. Still unapologetically pink.

No one says Happy Valentine’s Day better than Robert Indiana with his LOVE/AMOR sculptures.

They’re now on display at The Nader Sculpture Park in the Miami Design District, along with sculptures by Botero, Hudson, Cañero, and a couple by Carlos Cruz-Diez.

Go check them out!

Nothing like starting the year receiving an award like this that validates the effort, the work, and the long game.

I’ve been named a 2026 Real Estate Newsmaker by RISMedia in the Futurist category.

Newsmakers recognizes industry leaders across the country who are actually moving real estate forward. Not talking about change. Doing the work. The Futurist category focuses on looking ahead before you’re forced to. Raising standards. Building smarter systems. Putting consumers first even when it’s uncomfortable. Helping agents adapt before change forces their hand.

This recognition reflects how I’ve approached my work for years. Leadership with intention. Technology as a tool, not a gimmick. Advocacy that matters. Education that prepares people for what’s next, not what already happened.

Second year in a row. Same commitment to doing the work.

Grateful for the peers who challenge me, the agents who trust me, and an industry that still has room to evolve.

Congrats to all the 2026 Newsmakers.
