When people think about moving to Miami, they usually picture the beach, restaurants, nightlife, and the skyline.
What they don't always picture is what everyday life looks like six months later.
That's when things like lot size, outdoor space, mature trees, and neighborhood layout start becoming a much bigger part of the conversation.
If that sounds like what you're looking for, here are 3 Miami areas I'd explore:
📍 Pinecrest
Known for larger lots, mature landscaping, canopy roads, and some of the largest residential properties you'll find in Miami-Dade.
📍 Kendall
A wide variety of neighborhoods, home styles, and price points, with many areas offering larger lots, mature trees, and more interior space than people expect.
📍 Ponce-Davis
A residential pocket located between Coral Gables and South Miami, known for larger homes, generous lot sizes, and convenient access to surrounding parts of Miami.
The biggest thing many buyers realize?
Areas may look similar online...
But they function very differently once commute patterns, traffic flow, and everyday life start kicking in.
That's why I always tell people:
Don't just choose the house.
Choose the life that comes with it.
