Since she was 8 years old, she knew she was destined to be a lawyer and did just that. Equipped with both a Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Science in Law from Northwestern California University School of Law as well as an undergraduate Bachelor of Arts-Business Administration degree supported by two certificates from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire in addition to nearly a decade of diverse
public and private legal sector experience starting as a legal secretary and gaining experience and responsibility all the way to an Associate General Counsel and subsequently the owning partner of her own firm. She is the Owner and Attorney of Sargent Law and Legacy, LLC., which she established in 2025 when she realized many local families did not have wills to set guardian recommendations for their children or estate plans and many young adults going off college were unaware of the need for Powers of Attorney. Realizing the need, she opened the firm to bring about an accessible virtual model outside of typical law firm setting to provide the needed services with flat fee packages so families know the investment upfront with no surprises. Crystal wanted to make estate planning convenient and comfortable, offering meetings with Clients in their homes, in person or virtually, at times that allow flexibility for Client's busy lives, work schedules, and family commitments. Crystal is a licensed attorney in good active standing in Wisconsin and currently licensed but elected a voluntarily inactive status in California to focus on her Wisconsin Clients. She is married with three children and enjoys traveling, hiking, and baking. She acts with integrity to meet the needs of her clients and protect what is most dear to them. Her empathy, compassion, and talents in estate planning, legal writing, legal research, and document drafting allow her to find viable solutions to Client’s estate requests. Crystal works well under pressure and handles stressful situations with ease, but she seeks to anticipate concerns before they arise to work proactively to avoid or mitigate them. She believes in continual education, self-improvement and always striving to remain not only up-to-date, but a step ahead of change for optimal compliance and understanding. Her attention to detail and commitment to the clientele she serves further demonstrates her ability to carry out the client’s intent in their estate plan.
