We hope you will join us Thursday evening, March 2, 2023, at the Aqua Turf Club for our annual Pathways to Leadership for Women Lawyers dinner and awards ceremony. We will be presenting this year's Ladder Award to "Finn Dixon" attorney, Tanyee “Tan” Cheung. Our keynote speaker will be the Honorable Nina Elgo of the Connecticut Appellate Court. Welcome to the new page for the Women in the Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association!

The purpose of the Women in the Law Section is: 1) to monitor the progress and enhance the status and opportunities available to women in the legal profession; 2) to provide women attorneys in Connecticut with an opportunity to share concerns, communicate, and network with one another in a supportive forum; and 3) to promote the participation of the Connecticut Bar Association in substantive areas of law and legislation that present issues of particular concern to women in the profession, and to those who seek legal services.

Our executive committee is working to make the 2022-2023 year a great one. We will kick off our calendar of events with a Section Meeting on September 20, 2022. This will be an evening Zoom meeting. More details coming soon.
