Dudley and Smith, P.A. is seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney, with a minimum three years of experience in practicing family law. This is a full-time position available at a well-respected, well-known, Mendota Heights law firm. Applicant must have significant experience in preparing all family law documents, preparing motions, performing research, client contact, representing clients in ADR and settlement negotiations, orders for protection, adoptions, and court appearances. Applicants should also have strong verbal and written communication skills and be prepared to handle a caseload of files upon starting. We practice in the Metropolitan area and greater Minnesota. The firm is seeking a smart, confident, well-rounded individual who is motivated, creative, common sense-oriented candidate with good critical/analytical skills. Must be duly licensed in the State of Minnesota.

We're seeking a 2nd or 3rd year law student with excellent skills in research and writing for a part-time law clerk position. Law clerks work directly with attorneys and support staff in multiple areas of law including civil litigation, bankruptcy, personal injury, business and commercial litigation, real estate, and family law. Dudley and Smith, P.A. presents an opportunity for clerks to work with individual clients and small and medium-sized businesses.

Law clerk duties include research and writing, drafting correspondence, assisting attorneys and staff with file maintenance, and court experience through observation. We understand that law school is a priority and provide flexible hours for clerks to work during the school year and summer.
