āš“ļø A Big Weekend for the Tri-Towns Community

The grand re-opening of the Mattapoisett Boatyard this Saturday is more than just the reopening of a local business, it’s a reminder of what makes Mattapoisett, Marion, and Rochester such special communities to call home.

After the devastating Mattapoisett Boatyard fire a few years ago, the amount of support from the Tri-Towns and South Coast community was incredible. Local families, businesses, boaters, and neighbors all came together to help support the rebuild and keep this longtime local staple moving forward.

Now, seeing the new Mattapoisett Boatyard officially reopen on Mattapoisett Harbor is an amazing full-circle moment.

For many people across the South Coast, the Mattapoisett Boatyard has always been part of summer, boating season, and life on the water. Its return says a lot about the resilience of this community and the pride people have in the Tri-Towns.

Congratulations to everyone involved in rebuilding and bringing such an important part of Mattapoisett back stronger than ever. āš“ļø
