Just took the walther PPK/S in .22 LR to the range. This Firearm is well made and easy to shoot. I would definitely recommend this Firearm to others. The only downfall with it that I found was it is picky when it comes to ammo. You need to shoot a higher grain .22 through this firearm to have it operate correctly. If you don’t the pressure isn’t enough to fully eject the round and causes Jams. Despite the little flaw I think for a nice plinking gun or a small carry gun for under $400 you can’t go wrong.

Finally got a chance to review the Ta**us G3c 9mm semi auto. The G3c comes in a 4inch and 3inch barrels. It also comes with 3 ten round magazines. Priced at slightly under $300 it is a great value gun. The slide on the gun is surprisingly easy to rack a round into the chamber. The magazines on the other hand are quite stiff and the more rounds you add the more difficult it is to load. This is common place with new magazines so hopefully they will break in with time. The grips are nicely textured and allow for a good grip of the firearm. It’s a very accurate firearm right out of the box from the factory. I would have to recommend this firearm especially to anyone on a budget. This would make a great carry gun or range plinker to anyone who picks one up.

The course location will be at the North Shore Training Center 45 Jefferson Ave, Salem, Ma, 01970. This Course is Mass State Police Certified and upon completion will enable you to apply for a Firearm License. Course fee is $100.00 and registration is required. Morley Firearm Training will be holding an NRA HOME FIREARM SAFETY COURSE on August 8th at 8am until 12 noon. The course will take place at the North Shore Training Center located at 45 Jefferson Ave in Salem Mass. Registration is a must and can be done through the training centers website or by calling 781-631-3345. The course fee is $100.00 and can be paid during class. This course will give you the certificates needed to apply for a Mass LTC.
We are taking every precaution to clean and disinfect the classroom as well as practicing proper social distancing. Masks are required to be worn during class.

The recent School Shooting are a tragedy for sure. Let me say this confidently this is not a Gun Problem. I strongly believe that we live In a Different world today and accommodations need to be made for that. We were introduced to terrorism on 9/11 and since such time we have taken measure to assure that those actions can never happen again. We have not addressed the issue of keeping our children safe. I blame both sides for this the democrats and republicans. This is not a party issue it is an American issue. Its not time to have a debate over gun control. If you take away guns from all law abiding citizens criminals will still have them and sell them on the black market. With that said these situations could happen all over again. If someone is determined to do something they will find a way. What we need to do as a Nation, States, and local communities is Stop arguing over guns and get our head in the game and figure a way to secure our Schools. I don't claim to have the answer but no matter the cost we need to do it. This isn't an impossible problem to solve. We should have no open campuses and doors should be properly locked. There should be a Police Officer or Armed guard at every School. This topic should be discussed in school in health class as it pertains to a child health. I think if you can teach a kid what a condom is and how to use it then you should be able to discuss this topic with kids. Things like what to do if such an instance occurs or about reporting on unusual behavior of other students. And yes this topic is a scary one but we already discuss scary situations with our children like what to do about strangers approaching or try to grab them. And if you are offended by a Trained Armed Individual either police or private I say tough just deal with it. People get pi**ed and offended when the guy at the airport starts ripping your bag apart but I say go ahead take my bag apart if that's what it takes to keep me safe then go ahead. The point to all this is we need to do something and I urge you to press your government for results. Tell them to cross party lines and get this done.

A recent article that the NRA put out on buck shot verses bird shot for home protection used in your 12 gauge shotgun makes a good point that buck shot used in the interior of the home maybe to strong and pe*****te walls and hurt loved ones. They say bird shot might be a good alternative and compared to buck shot I agree. I still would worry about effective pe*******on of an intruder with bird shot. Let me make another suggestion breneke tactical slugs are designed to pe*****te the intruder and break apart much like hollow points do and vastly reduces the worry of over pe*******on or shot spread. Just another option for the 12 gauge owners out there.
