What a way to celebrate my first month back at eXp Realty! 💙

I’m incredibly grateful to be recognized as one of eXp Realty’s Top 10 Producers by sales volume in the NOMAR market for July 2026.

A little context: Although I live on the Northshore and serve many clients there, my original sponsor recommended NOMAR because it was the larger association with broader resources and support. NOMAR has roughly 5,600 REALTORS®, compared with approximately 730 at NABOR. Being part of the larger organization and earning a place on this list makes the recognition mean even more to me. I’m now considering joining both for the different education, support, and networking opportunities each offers.

Four years into my real estate career, I’ve learned that growth isn’t always a straight line. Every season has brought valuable lessons, meaningful relationships, and people who have encouraged, challenged, and helped me grow.

This morning feels a little bittersweet. ☕️❤️

We’re packing up the RV and leaving McLeod Park today, headed back toward Louisiana to check out another RV park. Before we hit the road, I poured myself a cup of coffee and took a minute to enjoy the quiet.

At my recent broker tour, I discovered that Mayhaps Coffee doesn’t just serve amazing coffee—they have their own signature roasted blend. As soon as I found out, I knew I had to try it.

Now I’m sitting outside the RV with a cup in my hand, and I get the hype. It’s bold, incredibly smooth, with notes of chocolate, baking spices, and cherry bitters. Exactly the kind of coffee I love.

One of my favorite things about this job is meeting incredible local business owners. Whether I’m helping someone buy a home, hosting a broker tour, or traveling in our RV, I love finding people who are passionate about what they do—and sharing them with others.

Now it’s time to bring in the slides, hit the road, and see what our next RV stop has in store. But first… one more sip. ☕️💛

🏠 HEADS UP:

If you’ve been counting on the Army Corps of Engineers to help elevate your home, there’s some new uncertainty you need to know about.
The Corps has paused several studies on voluntary home elevations in Louisiana. They are currently re-evaluating whether they are the right agency to handle "property-by-property" flood protection, or if they should stick to big projects like levees.

What Homeowners need to know:

✅ The Good: State leaders are pushing to "get these over the finish line" so homeowners aren't left hanging.

⚠️ The Catch: This could mean a shift in who manages (and pays for) these lifts in the future—potentially moving to FEMA or HUD.

📍 Impacted Areas: St. Tammany, Iberia, St. Mary, and St. Martin parishes are all watching this closely.
In Louisiana, flood risk = property value.
