Filipino American History Month Long Beach Ca The Filipino American History Month (LB) started in October,2000, a program of FFAAI to celebrate the contributions of Filipino Americans in our society.

The first Filipino American History Month Celebration started with an exhibit at the Bret Harte Branch of the Long Beach Public Library on October, 2000 with Eloisa Gomez Borah as the Curator , sine then, an annual celebration is held at the Rickenbacken Room of the Long Beach Marriott Hotel every first Saturday of October. The Federation of Filipino American,Inc. recognize oustanding leaders and

advocates in the community with annual Awards Reception for Community Leadership and Bayanihan Spirit Awards.
