It is a common tactic used by insurance companies.
Don’t be fooled!
In some situations, the insurance adjuster wants speak with you to either settle your case for much less than it’s worth or minimize its value by taking your recorded statement.
Sometimes an insurance adjuster will offer you $500, $1,000, or even $5,000 to settle your case right away even though the value of your case may be larger. If they are unable to settle your case with you, they will insist on taking your recorded statement. Don’t do it! Always consider your options.
