Lately, I've been thinking a lot about what success really means.
Every month I see the lists of the top-producing agents, and I genuinely celebrate those who have earned those accomplishments. They work hard, and they deserve to be recognized.
But I also realize that my path has been a little different.
Years ago, I made a decision that I didn't just want to sell houses. I wanted to help people through one of the biggest transitions of their lives.
That decision changed everything.
It led to the creation of Nebraska Savvy Seniors, where we offer free educational seminars because I believe people deserve honest information before they ever make a decision.
It led to the Nebraska Savvy Seniors Travel Adventure Club, because retirement shouldn't just be about downsizing or doctor's appointments. It should also be about making friends, creating memories, and enjoying the life you've worked so hard for.
It led to Savvy Estate Sales, because I watched families struggle with clearing out a lifetime of memories and realized they needed someone who understood that those "things" weren't just things. They were pieces of a life well lived.
Could I spend more time chasing sales numbers?
Probably.
But I'd rather spend that time sitting at a kitchen table with a family that's overwhelmed... helping an adult child figure out the next step for Mom or Dad... giving someone a hug who just lost a spouse... or finding the right resources to make a difficult transition a little easier.
Those moments will never show up on a leaderboard.
But to me, they are the moments that matter most.
Our team believes that people come before properties. We believe education comes before transactions. We believe serving others is more important than chasing another sale.
