My Story
I have lived in Northern Virginia for well over a decade. I was born and raised in a small town in Western Pennsylvania (north of Pittsburgh), where my family owned and operated a real estate brokerage business for many years. I am extremely proud of my Italian heritage, and my small town roots. In addition to being a real estate professional, I have been a practicing attorney for over 18 years. I am licensed in Virginia, Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia. I received my undergraduate and juris doctorate degrees from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. My legal contract work focuses on complex litigation, although I spent many years as a trial attorney. I am a passionate advocate for my clients in the real estate arena, as well as the courtroom. Developing a real estate sales business has always been a dream of mine, as it combines my years of legal experience with my enthusiasm for being a “people person.” I chose Sotheby’s International Realty, because of the trust and respect Sotheby’s has earned internationally and locally. I share with Sotheby’s the same core value of providing the best possible service to every client regardless of the monetary amount of the transaction. Whether I am dealing with a modest townhouse, a sprawling estate or something in between, I provide the same personal touch and attention to detail to each and every client. I strive to achieve the highest level of excellence and professionalism, which is what everyone should expect from the agent representing him/her in possibly the most significant business transaction of his/her life. Many of us are extremely selective when consulting doctors and attorneys, and I believe choosing a trusted real estate professional is also extremely important.
In my spare time, I am extremely active in raising awareness and support for Childhood Cancer research and funding. I donate a portion of any proceeds from sales to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and other childhood cancer organizations. I am also an avid supporter of various animal rescue groups, especially The Homeless Animal Rescue Team (HART) of Northern Virginia.
