I’ve always believed you find out who you are in the hard rounds.

Not when it’s easy. Not when people are watching. But when you’re tired, tested, and still choose to keep going.

FULL-CIRCLE MOMENT. Before I ever opened my own doors, I had a mentor in a red suit who believed in me. She taught me plaintiff personal injury from the ground up and shaped the lawyer I am today. Now I have the privilege of standing beside her in my own firm.

Moments like this stay with you, because you know none of it happens without the people who poured into you when all you had was potential and drive.

Life has a funny way of coming full circle. Keep reading… this one’s wild.

Back in 2009, I was the third fight of the night, weighing in at 140 pounds, ready to go to war inside the ring at Southpoint Casino.

Little did I know… the guy walking me out to that fight, Will, would become a much bigger part of my life years later.

At the time, I had no idea who he was. All I knew was that he was managing the fights. I was locked in, focused on my opponent.

Fast forward 15 years… Will is now my Office Manager. We talk every single day, and he’s been by my side ever since—not in the ring (though who knows, we might be back), but in the fight for justice.

Crazy how life works. 👊 You never know where a moment or a person will take you.
