Happy Fall Y'all! That means winter is right around the corner😱 Now is the perfect time to get your home winter ready. Some suggestions to get started...

1. Change furnace filters, clean and test run your furnace.
2. Change the batteries and test your thermostats, smoke detectors, and Co2 detectors.
3. Clean and unclog downspouts and gutters (again after the leaves fall)
4. Switch your ceiling fan to spin clockwise to help circulate the warm.
5. Inspect and clean your fireplace and chimney.
6. Remove garden hoses and drain outdoor spigots.
7. Repair or plug holes where mice can enter.
8. Seal gaps/cracks around windows and doors.
9. Remove window air conditioners.
10. Insulate exposed pipes so they don't freeze.
11. Replace door weather striping.
12. Close crawl space vents before freezing temps set in.
13. Clean out dryer vents.
14. Store wood outside at least 20' from your home.
15. Get shovels out of storage and maintenance show blowers.
