I got a call late last night for a last-minute assist and was happy to help!

I left the house early this morning and got to watch the sunrise on my way to Jacksboro, in beautiful Campbell County, for a quick seller’s package helping a signer close on his Indiana property.

Not a bad way to start the day! ☀️🖊️🏡

It’s been a busy weekend!

In just about 24 hours, I’ve had the opportunity to:

📍 Meet a client in the parking lot of the TA Travel Center at Watt Road for a notarization
🏡 Travel to LaFollette for a refinance closing
📄 Head to Bean Station to help an older couple complete and notarize paperwork for a home equity line withdrawal
💍 Meet with a sweet couple whose wedding I’ll be officiating in a few weeks
👆 Attend a Knoxville-area notary meetup and training on fingerprinting services
🏠 Help an awesome couple complete real estate documents for the sale of their Collierville property during the fourth quarter of the UT game 🤣

Some appointments require a stamp, others involve walking signers through a stack of closing documents, helping them complete paperwork correctly, or simply helping with two pieces of paper to the process a little easier.

And somewhere in there, I still squeezed in gymnastics and lunch with my two favorite ladies and some family time at Hillbilly Golf. 😊

Busy? Absolutely. Grateful? Always!

Thank you to everyone who continues to trust Wisdom & Witness Notary & Officiant Services!

Another great series of appointments serving Knoxville yesterday evening! ✍️

First stop: Northwest Knoxville for a repeat client, notarizing sworn statements. Then it was over to the Bluegrass Area off Ebenezer on behalf of a mortgage company, helping an elderly signer gather documents needed to support a refinance application and scan everything back to the company. I enjoy learning out the lives people have lived while they're sifting through papers looking for specific items.

No stamps were needed on that second appointment, but the work was still meaningful. One of the things I enjoy most about being a notary and public servant is that sometimes the job is simply helping someone navigate a process that might otherwise feel overwhelming!

Some documents simply shouldn’t wait.

On Sunday, I received an inquiry via my website for a client in Northwest Knoxville who needed a will w/ self-proving affidavit, and advance healthcare directive notarized. Since the documents also required witnesses, she asked if I could provide those as well. I reached out to my trusted witness network and had Michelle, Shelby, and myself set for a 5:30p next-day appointment.

Whether you’re preparing for a trip, facing an upcoming medical procedure, or finally checking estate-planning documents off your list, Wisdom & Witness can help make the process easier. I offer mobile notarization, flexible evening and weekend appointments, and assistance coordinating witnesses when needed.

Another closing in the books! 🏡✍️ the 5pm hour took me to Roane County for a refinance with a wonderful couple who live near the lake. Beautiful views definitely aren’t a bad perk of being a mobile notary!

After the signing, I ended the night with dinner from one of my favorite small businesses in Knoxville, Yassin's Falafel House. Not a bad way to wrap up a Friday night! Supporting my small business while getting to support another one along the way. 😊

If you need a notary, Wisdom & Witness LLC offers mobile and remote online notarizations, with evening and weekend availability to make getting documents notarized a little easier. 📄🚗

As someone who has an education background myself, the hidden costs of teaching sadly continue to grow instead of shrink. This year we’re excited to participate in Gus's Good Times Deli Adopt-a-Teacher efforts by adopting Michelle Bishop, a fifth-grade teacher at Fairview Elementary.

If you’re looking for a simple way to help a local classroom get ready for the new school year, take a few minutes to check out her Amazon wishlist. Every item, big or small, helps create a better learning environment for her students.

A huge thank you to Gus’s Good Times Deli for organizing this awesome way to support our local teachers. Let’s help Michelle have a great start to the school year! ❤️📚✏️

It’s yard sale weekend, so I figured I’d be hanging out in the driveway until about 2:00 today chatting with people. I got a call for a mobile notarization for a member of the military who was traveling and needed something notarized before going back to Alabama!

They stopped by, browsed the yard sale for a minute, got their document notarized, and were back on the road.

Come for the bargains, leave with a notarized document… not exactly the yard sale activity I planned, but I’m always happy to help! 🇺🇸

It’s only 8:15am and I’ve already had the privilege of legally joining a wonderful couple in marriage!

It was a beautiful morning at the Farragut Branch Library, right by Founders Park, to make it official. Sign-and-go ceremonies like this are a simple, meaningful way to start your next chapter together.

Congratulations and wishing you many years of happiness, laughter, and wedded bliss. 💍

In the middle of packing boxes as we are preparing to relocate within East TN, I took a quick break to meet a member of our military who is temporarily stationed at TYS for a training program. We met halfway, got her two probate related documents notarized in just a few minutes, and both got back to our busy days.

I’m always happy to help, even when your life or mine gets a little hectic. If you need a mobile or remote online notary in East Tennessee, I’d love the opportunity to serve you. And if you’re active duty military or a veteran, be sure to ask about my military discount. It’s a small way to say thank you for your service.
