We're proud to share that our co-founder, Maureen Brady, has been appointed interim Co-Lead Counsel in In re Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation and TriZetto Provider Solutions, LLC, Data Security Breach Litigation (MDL No. 3185), pending in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri before the Honorable John A. Ross.
This multidistrict litigation consolidates 26 cases arising from a data breach that exposed the sensitive personal and protected health information of patients across the country. In appointing Maureen and co-lead counsel William Federman to steer the litigation on behalf of the proposed class, the Court also designated Maureen as its primary point of contact for Plaintiffs.
Leading an MDL of this scale is both an honor and a serious responsibility. More than a milestone for our firm, it means standing up for the people whose most private information — their medical and personal data — was compromised, and holding those responsible to account.
