We are proud to announce that Gregory J. Millington, Esq. has joined Millington Law, PLLC as our newest attorney!

Gregory brings 10+ years of legal experience and is a welcome addition to the team! For 8 years Gregory defended the indigent citizens of Duval County, FL while employed as an Assistant Public Defender. He then worked for 2 years in civil litigation with a focus on construction defect lawsuits involving homeowner’s associations and contractors. Gregory has a passion for helping clients navigate challenging and sensitive legal matters with courtesy and respect, and is determined to secure the best possible outcome for them.

Gregory’s main focus at Millington Law, PLLC will be criminal defense, but will also assist in family law and estate planning matters as needed.

Just a reminder to anyone going through a family matter involving children:
Love your children more than anything—even more than any anger or dislike you may feel toward the other party. If this situation is stressful for you as an adult, imagine how it feels for your children, who don’t fully understand what’s happening and don’t know how to cope.

Their childhood goes by so quickly. Try to cherish it, even in the midst of the chaos that comes with your case.

Hello everyone! I wanted to share a great local resource to anyone that is going through any legal issues but family law in particular. Jacksonville Area Legal Aid (JALA), not only do they provide free legal clinics throughout the year and they partner up with other programs as well to help and serve our community, but they also provide different programs to individuals who may qualify, such as FLARE. Check them out if you are in need!

JALA provides civil legal services to low-income persons primarily in Duval, Clay, Nassau and St. Johns, Florida.

JALA also serves Alachua, Baker, Bradford, Clay, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Lafayette, Levy, Madison, Suwannee, Taylor and Union.
