Harold's "Retirement Party" as he has said will take place Saturday, May 29th, 2021, at George A. Smith & Sons Funeral Home located at 2812 N Highland Ave, Jackson, TN 38305, with visitation from 10:00AM-11:45AM to be followed by a graveside service at Ridgecrest Cemetery.

Id like to thank my colleague & friend, Anna Cash, for a fitting tribute of orange and white left at our office. It was a difficult morning coming into the office today, had Harold been here he would have pointed out the fact that I was late and unshaven. Also, had Harold been here he would have asked who put up flowers without his permission. I guess I'll listen to that gripe next time I see him. Thanks Cash

Much like Mark Twain, Harold F Johnson is a master story teller. I have been fortunate enough to get to listen to him reel off stories all my life. If you know him at all, you have also had the opportunity and pleasure (maybe displeasure depending on his mood). Harold is the proud owner of a new left shoulder and he wanted me to also relate and I quote "let everyone know I swing with my right" so he is still dangerous.

Harold is going to have his left shoulder replaced Tuesday, August 22, 2017. This will add to his artificial knee, artificial hip, pacemaker, defibrillator, and filter to catch blood clots (soon he will be a cyborg). The only thing left intact for now is his right shoulder. He is expected to be in the hospital two days, outpatient therapy for 5 days, and 4 weeks of therapy 3 times a day. If things go well, he should be back in the office after about 10 days and ready to go back in the courtroom in about 30. While he is out of the office, He will be in touch with the office daily, and if any emergency arises, Bill and Leigh will take care of it. He is sorry about the inconvenience, but will make up for it.
