It's almost that time again!

Tennessee's sales tax holiday on clothing, school supplies and computers is the last full weekend in July. For 2023, it begins at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, July 28, 2023, and ends at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, July 30, 2023!

Exempt Items from Sales Tax during this period are School and art supplies with a purchase price of $100 or less per item, such as binders, backpacks, crayons, paper, pens, pencils, and rulers, and art supplies such as glazes, clay, paints, drawing pads, and artist paintbrushes.

Non-Exempt Items are School and art supplies individually priced at more than $100 and Items that are normally sold together cannot be split up to stay beneath the $100 maximum.

Today in a fiery hearing, Mr. Lewis presented an aggressive, relentless and moving argument against the Internal Revenue Service. At the conclusion of the hearing, the ruling favored our client and the entire $171,494.00 tax liability was removed.

Today, Mr. Lewis conducted a compelling hearing with the Federal Government that resulted in the ex*****on of a resounding agreement that settled a tax debt of $14,135 for $1,150. The $1,150 will be paid in $50 monthly payments over the 23 months.

The client is 280% below the federal poverty line. He can now breathe, work and live without the fear of the Federal Government battering him or his family.

Last week, in an extremely aggressive action, the Internal Revenue Service moved to seize the primary residence and all assets of a taxpayer. This came the day following a bank levy which seized all money in their bank accounts. They hired Mr. Lewis, who immediately took an aggressive, striking counter action.
Mr. Lewis's actions stopped the IRS from seizing the clients property and assets. A portion of the money seized from the bank accounts were returned and the Internal Revenue Service must halt further collection action until a settlement is reached.

Today, Mr. Lewis conducted a hearing and successfully stopped an aggressive, sweeping collection action against our client. In the same hearing, without prior preparation, he eliminated $12,885 in Federal Taxes from the clients liabilities. The client will pay a total of $1,250 of a $14,135 liability, in $50 payments. This client is 160% below the Federal Poverty Line.

Staff Accountant-I (Bookkeeper) maintains continuous contact with clients, gathers information and accounts for transactions, income and purchases. Inputting and verifying detailed information, assembling financial sheets and managing tasks and requests from clients and Senior Accountants. Superb customer service is a paramount requirement of this position.
Experience is always preferred, however, we offer training programs, certifications and licensures for those without experience. Training pay is significantly lower, but varies depending on skills, abilities and progression.

The hours are Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
We offer great pay (depending on experience), offer in house training, certification and licensures with guaranteed raises, contingent on net profits and client load.

Negotiations were made with vendors and partner companies during a very busy week for the Lewis Corporation. This is the first major hurdle in plans to open a string of e-commerce companies that will be based and operate in West Tennessee.

Today Mr. Lewis conducted an Appellate hearing in which he successfully eliminated $210,358.88 of tax debt for a client.

The Internal Revenue Service was attempting to levy our client's assets for $218,964.70. The levy was stopped. Our client paid a total of $8,578.82. That's 3.92% of the $218,964.70 of the balance owed to the Internal Revenue Service.
