FYI...if you are transporting meals to a loved one, use a muffin tin! Perfect portions for seniors! So much easier than multiple containers! And they can just throw the tin in the toaster oven to heat through or spoon individual servings onto a microwave-safe dish, heat, and serve!

I would like to thank all the Perry County Schools and students that participated in this years Autism shirt design contest all of the kids did an awesome job after a very close race I'm excited to announce our winner congratulations Willard Elementary student Haley Gibson your art will be this years shirt design. Once again thank you to all the students and teacher you all did an amazing job helping bring awareness and educated on Autism

This year for our Autism shirts we decided to do something different and allow the students of perry county to draw us a picture to put on the shirts for our designs we had so many entry's that we have narrow down from each school two now it's the publics turn to choose the winner I will attach each of the drawings we have students from Viper, Chavies, RW, Leatherwood and Willard I cannot express how proud I am of all the students they have done an excellent job. The way the winner works is the picture with the most likes will be this years shirt designs we will announce the winner on May 5th let the contest begin and good luck to all the drawings

The Autism Support Group has again been invited to the annual "Special Needs Awareness Evening" in Knott County. It is Thursday, April 20th at 6pm. In previous years it has been at Hindman Elementary but this year's event will be at Carr Creek Elementary. We'll be sitting up a booth to hand out Autism Information and inform the public of our group. Anyone interested in helping will be greatly appreciated.

We will be having a bake sale this Saturday April 8th from 11-4 at the picnic Shelter beside of Hazard City Hall everyone come out and show your support for Autism Awareness month

Show your support for the local Autism community by "lighting it up blue" on April 2nd for World Autism Autism Day and during the whole month of April for Autism Awareness Month.
Show your support by (1). Wearing blue clothing, (2). Changing out the regular bulb on your porch light or your flood light for a blue one (3.) Spreading the world and (4). Sharing this post.

Just a reminder if you plan to attend any of our upcoming events in October or November I need you to attend tomorrow's meeting 6pm at Pizza Hut on combs road.
