Charlotte’s job engine is spreading beyond Uptown. 🚧
Rapid Commerce Park has broken ground in west Charlotte near I-485, bringing a planned 1.5 million-square-foot manufacturing and logistics campus to the area.
The first phase includes three buildings totaling more than 410,000 square feet, with completion expected in Q4 2027. The full 137-acre campus is targeted for completion in Q1 2028.
That means construction jobs now: and more warehouse, logistics, and manufacturing opportunities later.
For buyers, sellers, and investors, this is the kind of growth worth watching. It may allow city-movers to gain more space and value outside the city without giving up access to career opportunities. Continued job growth can also support home values and rental demand in surrounding communities.
Charlotte’s growth is moving west. If you’re thinking about buying, selling, or investing near the next growth corridor, let’s talk strategy.
