Our craftsman will build your dream hut to the highest specifications using time honoured skills in his rural workshop in Northern Michigan. Contrary to the modern trend of modular built structures he is proud of the time that is involved in producing each individual hut to your specifications. Another important factor is sourcing materials for the shepherd hut from local vendors and artisans i

ncluding using a small local metal fabricating company to build the running frame, a beautiful piece of engineering in itself! The Shepherd Hut can be left outside throughout the year and is fully insulated from top to bottom making it user friendly year round. Kitchenettes, bathrooms, electrical outlets & lighting, custom cabinetry, bunk beds etc can all be added, design specifically to suit your needs. And did we mention the hut sits on solid cast iron wheels shipped over from a forge in England. This really helps when it comes to zoning or planning permission as it is not a permanent fixture! So when its time to think about adding a guest room, music room, artist studio, home office, craft room, sewing room, man cave, children's play room, teenage hangout, in-law apartment think no further than a beautiful hand crafted Shepherd Hut which can be passed down through the generations!

So… we showed what a lot of men would like their Shepherd Hut to be : "their own tiny pub" well how about a "she shed" for all the ladies that would like a tranquil space to call their own and what better place to do it than a Shepherds Hut!

For years, the garden shed has been the domain of the man, but now women are demanding their own huts. They come in an array of styles including beach huts, 1950s diners and Tudor cottages.

Although small in size, their open and spacious interior accommodates a variety of changing floor plans for multiple uses throughout the day. With plenty of windows and available wall space, there is plenty of natural light, and a feeling of openness to the world around you.
