Saw this phrase today and it caused me to pause. Yes, I live and ‘preach’ how we are body mind and soul and how they are intertwined.
I now see it in a deeper depth with the phrase that every single thing we experience…..
every. single. thing. affects ALL of them at the very. SAME. time. I had never heard it stated that way before.
It is no wonder a nervous system is on high alert or feeling ill symptoms AND the mind ruminates a storyline of what happened AND one can feel a disconnect from your soul and its messages.
Does this ‘new’ phrasing change how I do my work? Nope. But it definitely backs up how I feel about the importance of the work that I do for myself and for others. (And for those that do not know me, body work is not ‘just’ about massage, but also various other techniques along side energetic, frequency and intuitive components.)
Why would that help you? Because addressing only the body may or may not address the root of the issue.
Perhaps now is a good time to step up that self care routine for yourself and schedule that appointment.
