"Proud Momma right here." That is how my mom captioned this photo Monday after she dropped by the office & asked for a quick pic in our unplanned semi-matching PWL shirts.

Left to right: Adriann, who keeps this office (and me) running; me; & my mom, April, who is not on the payroll but runs errands, decorates this office for every holiday, & keeps the rose bushes looking sharp. Every firm should be so lucky.

I grew up on the Anderson County/Houston County line, & building this firm in Grapeland instead of a big city was a choice. This is a family firm in a small town, & we like it that way. The people who answer the phone here know East Texas because it is our community too.

And yes, the three of us look like a carton of Easter eggs. Thank you for the photo, Mom. That is a Longhorn on the wall behind us, & our Aggie friends are still welcome.

Meet Janet Guess, Slocum High School Class of 2026 and recipient of our largest 2026 award: a $3,500 Doyle Marshall Memorial Scholarship, presented at Slocum's graduation on May 29.

Janet, the Doyle Boil family is cheering for you. Go get it. 💙

Every dollar of this scholarship came from neighbors who showed up to a crawfish boil in Slocum. That's what this community does.

Four years ago, Tiffany Hauck joined PINEYWOODS LAW, and we have been grateful every day since.

Through every change, every busy season, and every step of our firm's growth, Tiffany has been the steady hand our team relies on. She adapts to whatever comes her way, she shows up with the same dependability day after day, and she brings a consistency that keeps our firm running smoothly for the clients and families we serve.

That kind of faithfulness is rare, and it does not go unnoticed. Tiffany is always looking for ways to improve and to help keep our firm heading in the right direction. Her willingness to take on new challenges, learn as our firm evolves, and put in the work quietly and reliably has made her an essential part of who we are.

Tiffany, thank you for four years of hard work, loyalty, and dedication to PINEYWOODS LAW and to the people we are here to help. We are proud to have you on our team and grateful for everything you bring to it.

Happy work anniversary. Here's to many more years ahead!
