**Meet the Attorney**
I grew up in a small town in Eastern NC where I spent time playing sports, attending church, volunteering, and learning about starting and running a business from various family members. Over time, the entrepreneurial spirit got hold of me as well and I started a non-profit to help people around the world. I moved away from NC to pursue my education and returned to Eastern NC to start a law firm that would help make my community an even better place to live and work. Had you told me years ago that I’d be back, be a lawyer, and a teacher, I never would have believed it.
For years, people told me that I had a calling on my life to be a teacher. I would always laugh, as I had no desire to teach. But what I recently realized is that my favorite part of my job as an attorney is teaching. I get to teach my clients about the law and help them plan their estates, secure their businesses and non-profits, and protect their families and children. I’m thankful for the opportunity to educate others on the law and I couldn’t be happier or more blessed to be serving this community and Eastern NC.
