Grant Dean - Broadstone Realty LLC - Austin TX Residential & Land Sales for Austin TX & Surrounding Cities I've lived in Texas all my life. I grew up in Houston and moved to the Austin area in 1993.

At that time Round Rock was a small dot on the map. Once Dell came into town the area grew and become one of the fastest growing cities around. I attended McNeil High School, class of 97 where I played tennis. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin May 2003 with a degree in Health Promotion & Fitness minor in Nutrition. I worked in the health & fitness industry for over 10 years (deter

mined to use my degree,) from selling fitness equipment, personal training and corporate wellness. I loved working with people one on one and developing a true friendship with all of my clients while they met their goals. When the recession hit in 2009 I changed careers and went into real estate where I used my relationship skills to help banks sell foreclosed and distressed properties to investors. As Central Texas recovered my cliental expanded to include first time home buyers, individuals or families ready to sell their home and those looking at land for recreation or building. Recently we moved from Round Rock to Georgetown and love it. Being in the country on one acre, having gardens, fruit trees and chickens has really given my family enjoyment. I'm blessed to be married to my best friend Emily, who is an Aggie and have two wonderful children plus a border collie named Bullet. We love the outdoors and going camping, hunting and traveling to see family that live in Texas. Whatever your goal is I can help. We don’t have enough porch overhang to keep wind-driven rain off our front door. Water finds its way through the wooden door and can flood the hallway. If we have time I’ll hang a tarp to block it; otherwise we end up using every towel in the house to soak it up during heavy storms. I think the only solution long term will be a storm door.

We took a quick road trip to Colorado Springs this year and stayed in a cabin in Woodland Park. This picture was not to capture some grand adventure rather a simple moment when we all were enjoying conversation on the patio in the cool afternoon. We had a great time. My most memorable moments were when we played Spades at the cabin in the evening.

I ran my Cooper AT3 XLTs to 57K miles, but a nail in the sidewall meant it was time for new rubber. Great road tire that handled rain really well—probably could’ve hit 65K if not for the puncture. Switched to Firestone Destination XT — love the look and the vertical side channels that push water out. Hoping for around 60-65K with these; tires aren’t cheap.
