Give me a cabin, a mountain view, and nowhere I need to be. 🏔️🤎

There is just something about Gatlinburg, Tennessee that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile.

Maybe it's waking up to the Smoky Mountains outside your window.

Maybe it's exploring all day and coming back to a cozy cabin at night.

Or maybe it's the possibility of casually spotting a bear while you're out and about. 🐻😂

Between the mountain views, hiking trails, waterfalls, little shops, good food, and all the fun in downtown Gatlinburg, you can make this trip as adventurous—or as relaxing—as you want.

And that's probably what I love most about it.

Some days I'm ready to hike a mountain.

Other days?

Put me in a rocking chair on the cabin porch with a cup of coffee and leave me there. 😂☕

✈️ Travel Tuesday | Hilton Head Island, South Carolina 🌴🚲

Hilton Head understood the assignment: slow mornings, beach days & absolutely nowhere you need to be. 🌴🤍

Some trips are all about seeing and doing as much as possible…

Hilton Head Island made me want to do the exact opposite. 😂

Wake up without an alarm.
☕ Grab a coffee.
🚲 Hop on a bike.
🌴 Ride beneath the trees.
🏖️ Spend the afternoon on the beach.
🦐 Find some fresh seafood.
🌅 And end the day watching the sun go down.

Simple. And honestly? Perfect.

There's something about Hilton Head that just feels easy.

It's beautiful without trying too hard, laid-back without being boring, and the kind of place where you very quickly start thinking…

“Okay, but what if we just stayed?” 😂

And that's one of my favorite things about traveling—finding places that make you imagine what everyday life would feel like there.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the heroes who ran toward danger to help others.

We remember the families who lost loved ones, the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice, and the countless acts of courage, kindness, and selflessness that followed.

25 years later, we remember. We honor. We will never forget.
