Thursday night, we had the privilege of serving dinner at the VFW in Florence.

A special thank you to Harvey’s Fish House for cooking a great meal and to all of our volunteers who gave their time to help serve.

Most importantly, we are grateful for the opportunity to spend time with our veterans and show our appreciation for their service and the sacrifices they have made for our country.

Serving this community is important to us, and we’re thankful for every opportunity to give back and support those who have given so much.

Friday night lights have a special way of bringing people together.

I had a great time in Canton this evening for my first high school football game of the 2026 season, watching Canton take on Velma Jackson.

I enjoyed spending time with my son and seeing my friend Paul Griffin and his family, meeting new people, and having meaningful one-on-one conversations with folks in Canton.

Those conversations are a big part of why I am running for Circuit Court Judge.

I want to help build and protect strong, safe communities where our children and grandchildren can grow, succeed, and gather on Friday nights to cheer for their hometown team. Let’s continue working together to build a safer, stronger future for everyone.

Great football, great people, and a great start to the 2026 season.
