The Virginia Department of Labor and Industry has clarified that the requirement to provide employees with a detailed, written statement for each regular pay date applies to all employees, regardless of whether they are exempt or nonexempt. Here’s what the new law entails.

Over the past 18 years, we have raised over $440,000 for the abused women and children at the Artemis House (Fairfax County’s Only 24 Hour Domestic Violence Shelter – operated by Shelter House).

Cook Craig & Francuzenko, PLLC is a law firm serving Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia from our office in Fairfax. Our cases regularly take us as far south as Norfolk and as far north as Baltimore, and occasionally we are called upon to serve in matters spanning the country. We practice in the areas of employment law, personal injury, corporate entities, and litigation, just to name a few.

Our goal is to help people, families, and businesses solve problems and pursue opportunities.

Our firm was originally formed by our founding partner, John Cook, in 2007. Alexander Francuzenko joined in 2009, and Christopher Craig in 2012. Throughout this time, CC&F has consistently grown, adding several lawyers and areas of practice, and in 2019, Broderick Dunn joined the management team as a partner.

Our attorneys have several decades worth of combined experience in the practice of law and are recognized across the region as leaders in the law. They contribute as educators, participating in lectures and articles to benefit other attorneys and the general public, as well as participate in community service and volunteer work.
