Woman says she was harassed at defense agency over child-care issues

J. Madison PLC attorneys Jacob M. Small and Benjamin R. Inman are proud of their efforts to hold the Defense Security Service accountable for illegal retaliation in a jury trial in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. We expect the case to go to the jury on Monday night. Regardless of the resolution, we are proud of our client for standing up for herself and all the other DSS public servants who have come forward with their own stories of discrimination and retaliation.

A jury will rule on whether Patricia Burke was discriminated against because of her gender.
