A driver says you were partly at fault. Does that end your claim in Washington?

After an accident, an insurer may say you share some of the blame. That question deserves a careful look at the evidence, not a snap conclusion.

Washington law generally reduces an injury award in proportion to a claimant's share of fault; partial fault does not automatically bar recovery. What matters is what actually happened and what the evidence supports.

What a night at the Snohomish County Sports Hall of Fame banquet.

Congrats to Laura Eichert of Lake Stevens, our 2025-26 KRKO Russell & Hill Female Student Athlete of the Year 🏐

2,351 career kills. Three straight top-four finishes at state. That's not a good career, that's a historic one.

It was an honor to hand this award to her parents, who've been in the stands for every bit of it.

A disability denial is not the end. But the clock starts the moment that letter arrives.

Opening a Social Security Disability denial can feel final. It is a decision you can appeal, and the notice tells you what SSA decided and how to respond.

Start with three things:

• Read the notice and identify the appeal deadline. SSA generally gives you 60 days after you receive the decision to request reconsideration.
• Keep the letter and a copy of anything you submit.
• List recent treatment, new diagnoses, and changes in your ability to work so your appeal reflects the full picture.

Do not set the notice aside while you gather every record. If you are unsure what the letter means, our disability team can review it with you.

After a crash, what should you save before the scene changes?

The scene of a collision changes quickly. Cars move, debris gets cleared, and witnesses leave. If you can do so safely, a few details can help preserve what happened:

• Photos of vehicle positions, damage, road conditions, signs, and visible injuries
• The other driver's information and the names of witnesses
• The incident or report number
• Records of medical visits, missed work, and expenses afterward
