Currently due to Covid - this position can be done mostly from home--1-2 days a week will be required in the Encino office as necessary to collaborate on projects.

We are a growing law firm in Encino, California located in the San Fernando Valley, specializing in estate planning and elder law.

We are seeking an experienced Probate, Trust and Conservatorship paralegal.

The successful candidate will have a paralegal degree, be a self-starter, and able to work independently and with a team.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Preparing Judicial counsel forms for Probates, filing and meeting all deadlines with the court

Ability to handle all aspects of trust administration issues upon death or disability including accountings. Ability to handle all aspects of Conservatorships including court accountings.

We will offer the right candidate competitive compensation based on experience and skills.

SKILLS REQUIRED

Experienced needed in Probate and Trust Administration
1-3 years experience in probate, with knowledge of judicial counsel forms
Paralegal Certificate and a minimum of High School Diploma
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
Excellent communications skills and be able to communicate clearly with the court, attorneys and clients
Excellent typing, grammar, spelling and writing skills
Ability to multi- task and prioritize
Detail oriented, organized and can work independently
Experience in Conservatorship matters, is a plus
Experience in trust, probate, and Conservatorship accounting is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $25.00 to $35.00 /hour
