On October 3, 1950, the Keetoowah Indians adopted the OIWA Constitution, By-Laws, and Corporate Charter of the “United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians in Oklahoma.”

Every year the UKB holds a celebration honoring this historic act. This year the UKB had a lot to celebrate because the 10th Circuit recently ruled that the UKB were eligible to put their land in trust status.

One of our attorneys, and UKB member,Victoria Holland served as the Master of Ceremonies for the celebration this weekend. To learn more about the UKB watch the live video below.
