A few months ago a second Micron Fab to be built in Boise was announced by President Trump and Micron execs. This newest development means "Boise-based Micron Technology said it would spend a total $200 billion to expand domestic semiconductor manufacturing in the United States, including a second memory fabrication plant at its headquarters in Boise. That’s an increase of $30 billion".
We're forecasting that means around 2,000 direct jobs at Micron by the end of the decade, and more than 17,000 indirect jobs.

This growth and investment by the Feds and Micron will have significant impact on our local real estate market. Looking at the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, where Congress restored and made permanent 100% bonus depreciation for 'qualified properties' placed in service after January 19, 2025, points to many positive outlooks for the Boise investment market.

Now is the time to strike on an investment property in order to take advantage of the lowest interest rates we've seen in over a year, decent inventory and a continued growth projection for the Boise, Idaho market.

Many of you here have been supporters of my Beautycounter business over the past decade. You gave ‘clean beauty’ a chance when it was a new product category and before people understood the importance of choosing clean products. We learned and grew together while Beautycounter was a force to reckon with on Capitol Hill in updating legislation and in the retail beauty space as THE leader in clean.
Thank you for coming along on that journey and trusting me to help you find skin and beauty products that were formulated with safe and tested ingredients. You have been a part of something VERY soecial and unique. We changed an industry together!
The article below details the last few years of the company as BC was sold to a private equity firm, sadly the brand as we knew it closed its doors and we’re all with out our beloved products.
On a positive note our founder, Gregg Renfrew has purchased back portions of the business including the right to sell the clean beauty products we’ve come to know and love and she’s working behind the scenes to get the business back up and running. We expect that to come back online around Q4 of this year.
In the meantime, I have recommendations I’m happy to make for other clean products. Feel free to message with questions.
